That's what the news release by Basel Action Network (BAN) announced on November 8th, 2011. It's really an exciting development for the environmental community and a great example to the business community.

T12 Fluorescent Lighting and Going Green

Today (June 30, 2010) is a big day toward making the world a little more energy efficient and you probably won't hear a word about it on the news.  Today marks the end of an era that begain over 70 years ago... The end of the T12 Fluorescent lighting system.

So here's the deal... the T12 is the basic 4 foot Fluorescent light that you see in offices everywhere.  They are usually recessed into the ceiling of your office or hanging over the work benches if you're in manufacturing and if you're like me, they make your eyes hurt. More...
