Marketing Events Going Green

I mentioned that last weekend; we publicly announced www.GreenCertifiedWeb.org, a green business certification company, at the Craig Duswalt Rockstar marketing Bootcamp. What I didn’t mention is that Ray Parker Jr. was there. See, that’s half the fun of doing Craig’s Rockstar Marketing Bootcamp, you never know who is going to show up... except that the next Bootcamp in March 2011 will have Kevin Cronin, the Lead Singer from REO Speedwagon

I mentioned a few weeks ago my concern about how Green Business Certification companies might be forcing people to incorporate non-green practices into their businesses just to pass a test and get a really cool logo on their site. Need for Green Certification

In my very first blog article, I mentioned the American College of Veterinary Dermatology and the fact that making a minor modification to their site meant saving 65 trees a year and about 144 thousand pounds of CO2. Recently, I commented on Corporate Colocation and the fact they will reduce their CO2 by about 4 Million tons per year.
